A wide-open space with a high ceiling is ideal, such as a community hall or sports hall.
Students need a minimum of arms-distance clear all around them, so a smaller group can manage in a smaller space. A minimum of 2 meter ceiling height is needed.
Outdoor workshops are possible but not ideal. Even a slight breeze or any rain can have a big impact on some of the props, so workshop options are more limited outdoors.

Absolutely! Juggling workshops are a great activity for adults of all ages, from community groups and college students to team-building events and even active retirement groups.

Yes. I adjust the workshop content to suit the age of the class. I also recommend a shorter workshop (no more than 30 mins) for infants, 1st and 2nd class, and a slightly longer session of 40 mins for 3rd-6th class.

Yes. I’ve taught students and groups with all kinds of additional needs – from visible impairments with arms or legs, to non-verbal and autistic students, to seeing or hearing impairments. The classes provide a gently physical, sensory, joyous experience.
While I can adjust to almost any additional need on the fly, it does help to know it’s there! I might refocus the class around partner tricks if I notice a student with their arm in a cast, or with groups of autistic students I’ll put a stronger focus on visual demonstration and a reduced reliance on verbal instructions. Please contact me for any specific concerns, and do let me know if there are any needs I should know about in advance. -
